A cold is one of the most common viral infections.
\nWhile there is no cure, there is plenty of treatments that can help you cope with the symptoms and you will usually start feeling better within a week.<\/p>\n
In the early stages, the flu can feel similar to the cold, with each causing a runny nose and sore throat. However, while a cold tends to build up gradually, the flu tends to hit quite suddenly.<\/p>\n

During this period, you will begin to notice a cold coming on. You will start to feel generally unwell, sometimes with a \u201cfuzzy\u201d feeling in your head and will start experiencing a blocked and runny nose. Most people will develop a cough during this period.<\/p>\n
